Marty

Jake's first role as an actor is in Marty.  Marty is the story of a 36 year old Butcher who lives in the Bronx circa 1950.  It was written by "Paddy" Chayefsky (also responsible for "Network" and "Altered States") and made into a movie which won the Academy Award for best picture in 1955.

It is showing every weekend in October of 2001.  The curtain goes up at 7:30 on Friday and Saturday with the Sunday matinee at 2:30.  Performances are at Sheil Park 3505 N. Southport, 312-742-7826, and tickets are only $5.

And now, with all the boring crap out of the way, here's some pictures and movies from behind the scenes on Marty:
